Reginald Van Carreker

Graduated from Cornell University. Hit the Washington music scene in 1978. Session player (keyboards, guitar, bass & vocals) in New York City in the early '80's. Artist on DJ Records (Long Island) during this time; began producing dance material for New York Indie labels (Prelude Records, Profile, VanGuard) during the mid '80's. Put together NO-SWEAT Productions in the late '80's - early 90's. Produced local talent in home-based BACK-DOOR recordng studio. Pressed and released product on talent signed to home-based record label NO-SWEAT Records. Performing currently as a solo act (vocals, guitar & midi keyboard) in and around the local Washington D.C. metro area, Inova Fairfax Hospital (company & fund-raiser functions), and most any venue that affords exposure and / or networking with others. Most recent performances include opening for Smooth Jazz Guitarists Steve Oliver & Nick Colionne; currently promoting new CD release 'ALWAYS THERE' and seeking local promotion team for management, performances & product distribution.
